I've been working on my website and trying to figure out what I'm going to do. I'm still working on redoing how I handle my affiliate marketing. I earned $30 last week with Blogitive. I'm going to add this blog and my sleep blog to the site. That will give me 4 blogs to earn money with. If I had had all 4 up and accepted by Blogitive, I would have made $60 last week. I'm going to add more blogs, but to get them accepted I have to have written in them for a while.

I've been having fun with Big Daddy, but I've got to work out what I really want to do with it. I'm not really happy with the pressure they put on you to invest money in the site. They can come up with more ways to get you to spend real money. I haven't spent any and I don't plan to unless I see some real benefits to me from spending the money.

I'm going to go see if I can earn some real money. I've got over $5,000 in my Big Daddy account, but that's funny money. It would really be nice if it was real.

I've had to rethink what I'm doing and what I want to do to earn income. I've been having fun, but it isn't bringing in enough income. The only thing that I've been doing that brings in real money is writing in my blogs for Blogitive.com. The others brought in a few cents, but are too time consuming for the amount of money I was making.

So, the plan is now to keep writing in my blogs and writing for Blogitive, rework my affiliate marketing. I need to be more involved in advertising for my affiliates. The places I have the ads are not really a good spot, especially the catalogs I have through GoldenCAN on my blogs. They're way down at the bottom, but that was the only place I could get them to fit on the blog without messing everything else up. When I figure out what I'm going to do I'll let you know, too.

I'm also planning to offer a blog writing service to small businesses and non profit organizations that don't have the time or inclination to write a blog for themselves. A blog can be an excellent marketing medium, but it is time consuming and takes away from the main focus of the business. We'll see if it goes over.

I took a class in desktop publishing in 1996 and I'm going to offer brochure, logo, letterhead, newsletter, e-newsletter design and writing.

I'm still working on how to set up my marketing plans. I'll let you know how things are going as I work this out.
